Spain: “Rebirth and Union”, Islamic party founded
Posted by: Nora in Islamization, Religion, SocietySpanish blogger Alawen sent me a link to Minuto Digital, which has gathered a very incomplete information about this party, Rebirth and Union. The bad thing is that there is very little information about its goals on the Internet, not even in the Ideal de Granada, which is the one that reported about it in the first place. It only says that the document “has four sheets” but without being very clear, as there are only metaphores in the text:
In only four sheets they explain why they believe it’s necessary this kind of party in Spain. He is a moderate and insists that he supports the Constitution and is Spanish. Rebirth and Union is a party for Muslims but also for ethnics minorities and immigrants: «Brother, sister, go one with the rebirth and the liberation, the consideration of what your situation is and meditate on it. You have to trust in yourself first and afterwards in your party to make your voice heard in the higher places. (…) The moment has come, Spanish Muslim, Arab, African immigrant and non-immigrant to free yourself from humiliation» (hein??? What class of humiliation does he think the immigrants suffer in Spain? Is he advocating for open borders? What is he referring to then?).
The central offices are in Granada, and others will be opened in all Spain to take part in the 2011’s local elections. «I’m sure that in a non-very distant future, not more than 30 years, one of our sons will be Mayor, Minister or even President of the Nation».He acts like a leader, speaking with a lot of metaphores that wants to mobilize them: «We are wrong and we won’t see ourselves as flies who are stridden by oportunists’ feet. We shouldn’t give any oportunity to those who want to humiliate us or hurt our honor or our personality and then let them touch our beliefs» (But didn’t he say that he was “constitutional and Spanish? Why that conflict with “his personality” and that about “they shouldn’t let [oportunists] touch their beliefs”? Is he referring to peple critisizing their beliefs? People like me, that do not earn a single penny because of this?).He knew the information was going to see the public light. He could even have calculated its effects: «If this time they want to work, they should support this party’s creation, because in a not very distant future these news will see the light». And he concludes with a prophet’s saying: «That who doesn’t see the light, is a mute Satan».

First is to spread Islam among the infidels, especially those who feel somehow disenfranchised. This is the same as pretty much any political movement does: the communists, the Nazis, and even political movements that we like and respect.
The second step is to radicalize the Islamic community. Old communities of Muslims in the world have accepted money from Saudi Arabia, but it is very much a deal with the devil, as the Saudis spread their own extremist, militant brand of Islam.
We see both of these steps ongoing pretty much all the time, but in places like the UK, you will see 1) the numbers of Muslims growing and 2) the mosques getting more radical.
While many Muslims deny this, and may honestly believe it is not true, Islam cannot peacefully coexist with other religions; it is, by its nature, imperialistic. And, the militant version that the Saudis spread (similar to other variants found in the Islamosphere), cannot peacefully coexist with less militant brands of Islam.
This is a great big dark cloud hanging over the earth, and it is not going to go away.

I think they are lying because they fear the consequences of saying what they really want. So they just speak in metaphores, people don’t worry about what happens and so they can continue operating under the radar.
I know your position on this, Hunter. Read this and the comments:

So, what solution there is? Because I really don’t see anyone (or at least any possible one.
The solution: speak the truth. The truth has a special ring to it, so people know it when they hear it. The more the truth is spoken, the more dysfunctional the extremist versions of Islam will show themselves to be. Decent people who are Muslims will have to reconsider what they know of Islam, and they will be confronted with a choice: abandon it, reform it, or join the ranks of jihadist honor-killing fanatic freaks.

I’m not so sure, Hunter. I think people want to hear what they want to hear. People are not normally used to telling others the truth and they even lie to themselves. There are a lot of relationships based on a façade much more than in real commitment (and not only in “love” affairs, but also in friendship or in commercial relations).
So, would normal Muslims (I mean, people who are not foolish) reconsider their own opinions, their own ideas, their own beliefs? I’m not very sure. yes, there will some of them who will with a high personal cost. But the majority would not. I am not saying that’s a Muslim/Islamic thing, that’s a human thing. There are very few people who are searching for the truth. So when confronted with the truth only a very tiny minority will dare to confront it.
